The Mid & South Peninsula Bird Watching Group April Meetup

Hi fellow birders!

Our next Meetup will be at the Coyote Hills Regional Park. We will walk around a marsh area and if were up to it (in shape!), we'll walk up and down a grassy hill above the bay. We should see hawks, ducks, geese, white pelicans, egrets, herons and hopefully many other species!

All members are welcome :)

Please bring: appropriate clothing, for cold weather or rain (wear camoflage or dark colors)
- sturdy shoes
- a field guide to birds (if you have one)
- binoculars (if you have a pair)
- pen, notebook
- a Fanny Pack/Backpack (to keep your stuff in)
- snacks

We will bird for approximately 2-3 hours.

Directions: From the Peninsula, cross the Dumbarton Bridge and exit at the first exit: Thorton Blvd./Paseo Padre Parkway. (This is exit 36, the first exit after the toll plaza, travelling east). Turn left on Paseo Padre Parkway. After less than a mile, turn left on Patterson Ranch Road which shortly reaches the Park entrance.
Drive about 1.5 miles more, past the entrance kiosk and Quarry Staging Area, to the trailhead at the end of the road (near the Visitor center). There is a $5.00 parking fee. We will meet near the Visitor Center.
