Weekend Nature Adventures is an outdoor group oriented around activities that are about more than getting from point A to point B.   Membership is open to anybody who can keep up with a brisk hike and knows a little biology.

Well, since there isn't a single canoeing group for the Bay Area, I thought I'd start one of my own. Add some fun and adventure to your busy life. Come canoe Bay Area sloughs such as Alviso, Newark, etc. Easy Lake and River canoeing is also on the agenda. Great sport for day trips. Sloughs are conveniently located (and free!).
